What a terrific book for a young child who is interested in helping in the kitchen. This book It is full of colorful illustrations, recipes, and scientific principles about food and nutrition that is very well written. I purchased this book for a 5 year old and I think it will be a big hit! Very pleased with this purchase.
My grandson is 3 1/2 years and we both enjoyed making one item a day while I was watching him. He was so proud when his parents came home and he served them his dish of the day.
This book is fantastic! I purchased this for my 4 yr old who is very interested in recipes and helping in the kitchen. I love the layout and the recipes are actually things that he wants to eat, bonus! DK Books are my favorite so I was already expecting to like this, but its even better than I thought.
We found this at the library and I ordered it. My 6-year old niece loves this book and despite being a picky eater, eats everything we make from it. She particularly loves repeating the title.

Love this book and my kids do too. We've made the veggie train, grape caterpillars and guacamole so far. The book is very visually appealing and my older son who's 7 asked if we can get the other book " Look I'm a Scientist".
Great book for young kids who are interested in cooking. Nice, color photos and a few easy recipes for you and your child to make. I plan on making a few of the recipes with my 4 year old and 6 year old.
